United Glass Charlton

We are reproducing below this fabulous picture of the United Glass factory in Charlton.
The owners are keen to know more about the picture - the artist, the scene, anything

My father Peter Whitelock worked at united glass Charlton for most of his working life. He initially worked as a C shift bottle examiner & later as clerk of refractories. U G had a sports ground at Shooters Hill where dad enjoyed playing football, cricket & later tennis. Dad died 15 years ago in his 80s, so i appreciated seeing a representation of his workplace,

Only just seen this unfortunately. My grandad, Jack Ellis, worked at United Glass at one point. Our family lived at Grenfell Street. Did you reproduce this picture? I would love a copy ....

My Dad also worked at United Glass for many years making bottle caps. He was Chris Leo. Died when he was 75 in 1992. I remember going to the Christmas party at the sports ground and our family had a photo in the Mercury newspaper because we all won a race at the sports day
