Long gap in communication and new handbook

Now I've been away for a week - and so nothing has been added here. BUT there is now an enormous pile waiting to tell you about - much more to come.
First of all. I have an advert in the post about the GREATER LONDON HISTORY AND HERITAGE HANDBOOK. This is published by the Peter Marcan organisation and covers everything you could ever want to know about local history activists in London. Peter Marcan has been doing this a long time - I remember talking to him about it after the Docklands History Survey was published in the mid-1980s! His address is PO Box 3158, SE1 4RA - no mention of a web site, in fact he rather seems to suggest that his publication is rather better.
